brad finished night 1 on 65 points 1 behind current leader dean mccullan, kevin swindell way back on 35 points and is running a backup car as the car raced in nz did not get released after returning to aussie due to incorrect bookwork not being completed by the freight company, mosen looking good leading into night 2

night 2 was a circus with the avalon track being super hard and most teams struggling with set up tyre choice etc, nathan smee is the new aussie champ with only 4 cars finishing the a main due to track conditions many suffering blown right rears and some drivers venting their disgust with the race surface
